Toumani Diabate: (1965-2024)
We have just received word that the preeminent Malian kora player, and longtime friend of Afropop Worldwide, has died in Bamako today. We have no further details at this time. We will have much more to say about this extraordinary musician. We send deep condolences to all his family and all who knew and loved him as we have.
